From Reload Kit Earth Edition, the civilization survival guide

This is a section of The Guide, a part of Reload Kit Earth. The Guide gives step by step instructions on how to build and implement different technologies and solutions with access to only a specific lower technological level, known as a stage. The Guide is part of Reload Kit Earth, a civilization recreation thought experiment.

This is a Reload Kit for Earth. It contains a great amount of technology and know-how composed for the purpose of recreating civilization should it be destroyed. It is meant to allow a group of people in a post-apocalyptic world to survive and prosper.

You need this kit if,

• There has been a great accident, catastrophe or war that has destroyed civilization as it was known in 2008.
• You wish to gather food, cure disease, and rapidly advance technologically.
• You need to go from stone age (cave dwelling, low technology) to the computer age (abundant food, health and comfort by comparison.)

If you need this kit then it is very important that you take it to someone you trust who can put it to best use and lead the efforts involved in restoring civilization. This project may take a lifetime.

If, on the other hand, civilization is doing well, please return this kit to the state you found it in. Although it may seem unlikely, some day it may be needed.
